WE ARE STORYTELLERS

A collaborative project/online magazine highlighting Asian-American creatives.

TARO Media champions Asian American Creatives, providing a platform to promote and celebrate their creativity. We seek to highlight an underserved creative culture by showcasing the work of Asian American creatives and giving them the attention they deserve.

OUR STORY

Started in November 2020 by Ken Pena + Aitana Mallari, TARO Magazine is an ambitious collaborative project highlighting Asian-American creatives. We’re cultivating a community of creatives and curating content that uplifts them.

Inspired by our friends and faced with a lack of representation in Arizona, we established TARO Magazine to encourage and celebrate their growth. Providing a platform, resources and community, it's what we wished we had when we first started our creative journey, and is a testament to what we know now: There's room for all of us.

Interested and want to learn more? Contact hello@taromagazine.com

We're always looking to cover more creatives—the ones under the radar, the underdogs, the up-and-coming. Know one? Nominate them below. (Psst...they don't have to be from AZ!)
