Atmospheric, nostalgic, and perhaps too relatable

Atmospheric, nostalgic, and perhaps too relatable at times, Loading... is a “2D-3D shifting, adventure game about a boy, his video games, and his aging grandpa” created by Toby Do // @toby_do3, a video game developer, filmmaker, and professor of game design at @ucirvine.
Much of the game was inspired by his own life as a Vietnamese-American growing up in a multi-generational household in southern California.
Originally Do’s thesis during his masters at @nyuniversity, Loading... will now technically be his first commercial release.
The game has been in development for about two years and features the talents of Ryan Yoshikami // @quarkimo (music), Genice Chan // @genicecream (art), and Richard Van // @richardtvan (production).

As of this post, Loading... is ~$1.1K away from their goal of $15,000, with 2 days left in their campaign, according to their official Kickstarter.

Since her original interview, Chinese graphic designer, artist and dancer @itsjaymew // @jaymewong.designs choreographed part of a competition set for Jukebox Family that placed at #DancersParadise 2022, and her art was recently selected and featured in @soundsaboutriso 4.0, an online + IRL showcase of risograph works held in DUMBO, nyc 🏙
She hints at more dance collaborations + honing her styles skills, and though she doesn’t currently have print projects brewing, she’s looking forward to the day an idea strikes.
